I've posted a 4-minute video of M.A.D. gameplay to both Vimeo and YouTube. Check out either one at:
http://www.vimeo.com/2681161 or http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=DVjtKBrCsz4
The video was put together to satisfy a request from the IGF chairman to all entrants. An embedded view of the video will eventually be added to the M.A.D. IGF Entry Page, and possibly to other IGF pages. Even if M.A.D. doesn't make it to the final round, I'll be pleased to see the game showcased in so many ways.

The previous videos were a bit old and have been replaced with two new videos that were captured from the most recent beta release. The first video shows some intense action, and the second video shows the strategic command interface in action. Check them out in the Videos section.

IGF Main Competition Entrants PostedNovember 29, 2008, 12:31:34 AM by BS-er
The IGF website has posted the entries to the 2009 IGF main competition. The other entries all look quite impressive and interesting, judging by the screenshots and trailers at their respective websites. Many of them seem to have a charm and uniqueness that you just won't find in mainstream games. I have some idea of the perseverance, dedication and "stuff" that it takes to put together a lot of 1s and 0s into a playable game, so kudos go to all the entrants who worked hard, met their goals, and showed that they can walk the walk. I wish and hope to meet some of these developers in the future.
I see that other games based on the Ogre engine have been submitted. Salvation Prophecy is the one I noticed right off the bat, and there are at least 3 others as well. It would be nice to see Ogre well represented in the list of finalists!

M.A.D. Enters the IGFNovember 12, 2008, 06:42:59 PM by BS-er
An early beta of the game was completed on November 1, just in time to be submitted to the Independent Games Festival contest. It would be quite an honor of our game makes it as a finalist.

New terrain and vehiclesFebruary 05, 2008, 11:21:48 AM by BS-er
We're continually striving to give the game a fresher look with better graphics. We've already made great strides in the terrain, as you can see from this screenshot. Also, check out the latest image in the screenshots gallery for a sneak peak at the fresh new look for one of the vehicles.
